YCMI is dedicated to providing multiple programs for girls ages 12 - 20. We use hands-on, systematic approach to teach, uplift, and inspire. We are committed to all of our girls learning, creativity and growth.
YCMI Scholarship program recognize and honor members of YCMI for their academic achievements, as well as their community involvement and outstanding citizenship. The generosity of annual and endowed scholarship donors allows us to offer new opportunities, both in the number of scholarships available to students and the variety of scholarship opportunities.
Our Highly personalized approach to tutoring delivers results whether your child needs to master foundational skills or learn advanced concepts we provide the supplemental support that leads to greater learning. you’ll see this impact not only in school, but in all areas of life.
Our instructors help girls to make simple meals to sustain a growing appetite all while fostering their independence. We believe teaching girls to cook at a young age is a necessary skill to have as they embark into the world of adulthood.
YCMI Girls are introduced to key forms of Speech, focusing on crafting and delivering memorable speeches of power and eloquence.
YCMI girls learn practical financial tools to start making independent financial decisions. They are introduced to best practices to help them make responsible choices in banking, budgeting, credit cards, and taxes.
YCMI students learn a suite of skills and applications that employers value most. Whether it’s Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access or OneNote, we help prepare students for their futures today.
Our self-defense classes empower girls to identify potential danger, and act with confident independence to get to safety, and if necessary know how to physically protect themselves
We make our Etiquette for girls classes fun and easy. These skills help prepare them heading into their adult lives. Our motto is “You Can Make It” and this is never more applicable than when it comes to catching our girls early before bad habits taught by uninformed peers have taken hold.
Our instructors help girls
learn sewing skills such as sewing machine use, hand sewing, using patterns, using various fabrics and much more!
In this class, girls learn creative writing strategies, practice various types of writing and build excellent creative writing skills.
Exposing teens to CPR training at a young age is good exposure. YCMI partners with local organizations for group training sessions.
