YCMI Foundation For Girls
YCMI Foundation For Girls
YCMI is dedicated to providing multiple programs for girls ages 12 - 20. We use hands-on, systematic approach to teach, uplift, and inspire. We are committed to all of our girls learning, creativity and growth.
Personalized one-on-one mentoring relationships that offer guidance, support, and encouragement. Group mentoring sessions that foster a sense of community and shared learning experiences.
Organizing and participating in local service projects to instill a sense of responsibility and compassion. Partnering with local organizations to address community needs and make a positive impact.
Leadership workshops and seminars to help develop essential skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Opportunities to lead community service projects and initiatives.
Bible study groups and faith-based discussions to deepen their understanding of Christian values. Prayer circles and spiritual retreats to nurture their faith and spiritual growth.
Workshops on self-esteem, confidence-building, and emotional well-being. Activities that promote physical health and wellness, such as sports, fitness classes, and nutrition education.
Tutoring and academic assistance to help girls excel in their studies. Workshops on study skills, time management, and goal setting. A highly personalized approach to tutoring delivers results whether your child needs to master foundational skills or learn advanced concepts. We provide supplemental support that leads to greater learning.
Field trips, cultural outings, and recreational activities that broaden their horizons and provide opportunities for fun and relaxation. Creative arts programs, including music, art, and drama, to encourage self-expression and creativity.
Resources and support for families, including parenting workshops and family counseling service. Family engagement events that strengthen the bond between girls and their families.
Providing practical knowledge and real-life examples of financial literacy, by helping understand the basics of budgeting, saving, setting financial goals, and developing good saving habits early on to help set them on a path to financial independence.
Our self-defense classes empower girls to identify potential danger, and act with confident independence to get to safety, and if necessary, know how to physically protect themselves.
YCMI partners with local organizations for group training sessions. Learning CPR empowers young people to take action in emergency situations, giving them the confidence to help someone in need. CPR training also raises awareness about the importance of health and safety, encouraging young people to adopt preventive measures and healthy lifestyles.
YCMI Scholarship program recognizes and honors members of YCMI for their academic achievements, as well as their community involvement and outstanding citizenship. The generosity of annual and endowed scholarship donors allows us to offer new opportunities, both in the number of scholarships available to students and the variety of scholarship opportunities.
We are dedicated to empowering girls through education, leadership development, and community engagement. Join us today and make a difference in your community!
